Spanish Chapter Women’s White Collar Defense Association

We had the privilege of leading a very special edition of the Spanish Chapter of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA), an association that brings together the leading women lawyers specializing in white-collar criminal law in our country.

Colleagues from Uría Menéndez, Baker McKenzie Spain, Pérez-Llorca, Molins Defensa Penal, Clifford Chance, Peleteiro Abogados, Argenti Legal, and Watson Farley & Williams, among other firms, came together for the session titled “Speaking with Impact: Public Speaking and Communication in Criminal Proceedings and with the Press” to train and discuss the importance of oratory and communication in our professional practice.

To explore these key aspects of communication and media relations, we were joined by two outstanding experts: Pilar Sardà, a certified consultant in communication pragmatics and specialist in legal communication and courtroom oratory, and Juana Pulido, partner at Estudio de Comunicación and expert in crisis communication. Both delivered highly practical talks on these topics.

Following the working sessions, we enjoyed a networking event in the stunning setting of Oroya restaurant, located in the exclusive Madrid EDITION Hotel — the perfect venue for exchanging ideas and building new professional connections.

Thank you to all who joined us for such an enriching day.
